The Metal Works provides metal fabrication services for customers across North America for automobile restorations, customization, and repairs. We even do repairs for wrecked race cars, rollovers, and custom top chopping. Owner Victor Yordy has over 30 years experience in body repairs and metal fabrication, and is dedicated to providing the highest quality craftsmanship available. 9/18/08 — More photos of the 1957 Talbot-Lago in our shop have just been added to the Photo Gallery. This is one of only three existing out of the seven built for this model, and is scheduled for completion in Nov. '08.

This car arrived at the Metal Works on Aug. 22nd, and is one of only three existing out of the seven automobiles built for this model. This project is scheduled for completion in Nov. 8/24/06 — We have just updated our photo gallery with pictures of several of our ongoing projects! New photos have been added of the 1937 Terraplane Pickup, as well as photos from the 1932 Lincoln. We also have new pics of the new paint job on the frame of the 1948 Bentley.

4/4/06 — New photos of the paint job to the frame of the 1926 Lincoln LeBaron have been posted to the photo gallery.
3/30/06 — We have just added photos of our newest project, a 1948 Bentley Special which just arrived.
The car's owner would like to have the fiberglass body and fenders removed that were put on the original Bentley chassis (with complete Bentley drivetrain intact) in the '60s. We will be replacing it with a boat tail speedster body (see the black & white photos for reference), custom fabricated from aluminum and steel with motorcycle-style fenders. The fiberglass body and fenders will be sold after disassembly.
Also, the 1932 Lincoln is back for a new paint job, and we have added more photos of the 1925 Lincoln and it's new wooden frame parts. As well, we've posted new photos of the engine and parts paint work on the 1926 Lincoln LeBaron, and one of a 1972 Maserati Indy that we've just begun working on.

1/12/06 — We have added photos of our newest project, a 1925 Lincoln Phaeton convertible!
This project is a 1925 Lincoln Phaeton convertible, serial no. 28997. We have borrowed a rear body and rear doors from another Lincoln, and we will be duplicating them for the restoration of this car. Also, we will be building in custom wood for the car to replace the original woodwork. Work on this project began on Dec. 15th, 2005, and please check back soon for new photos as this work-in-progress is updated.
